I am a single Mom who was born & raised in sunny Southern California. I adopted my awesome son, Jack, from Yaroslavl, Russia in November 2002 & in August 2007 we relocated out to Rio Rancho, NM for a better, more peaceful life. I am also the proud parent of 2 wonderful indoor geriatric felines, Emma & Tyler & a sweet kitten named Bailey.
MY CEDAR CHEST LLC was at one time a far-off dream of mine which ultimately became a reality. The store opened its doors on March 3, 2008. As a child, my Mom would place hand-knit items from my Nana & other special baby items in a cedar chest for me. When I was trying to think of an appropriate name for my dream store, MY CEDAR CHEST immediately popped into my mind. The store & its name are a tribute to my Mom & Nana.
The store is a nice blend of donated & trade-in items. We generously accept donations & offer store credit for those customers who wish to trade in their unwanted items. Anything that was useful to you as a parent or grandparent can now be useful to others!
We offer a great selection of name-brand infant, toddler & children's clothing. Shop the racks for The Childrens Place, Baby Gap, Old Navy, Gymboree, Sprockets, Circo, Carters, Faded Glory, Oshkosh & more. All of our items have been gently laundered or cleaned-by hand. Some items are still in their original box or have never been worn!
We have a Wish List if there is something you are specifically looking for. Give us your name & phone number so if the item comes in we can give you a courtesy call to let you know that we have it. You are under no obligation to buy it, of course! We also keep current recall information at the front of the store for your information.
